Tiara9 is the latest
generation of the market leading multi-profession clinical information system for therapists.
The latest release includes fully integrated waiting list and appointment management as well as a
full Electronic Patient Record (EPR) for Therapists.
On March 26th 2004, the strategic significance of Tiara9 was formally recognised when it became the only
adult therapy system to be sponsored for inclusion in the NPfIT National Care Records Service (“Spine”) Compliance
Programme.

The powerful resource scheduler allows booked appointments to be made that include patients, clinics, therapists, rooms, equipment, external services and indeed virtually any resource that needs to be considered. Waiting list management is fully integrated with the appointment scheduler and both full and partial booking services are supported.
The EPR module gives clinicians rapid and easy access to full patient histories as well as allowing details of assessments and interventions to be recorded directly onto the system. Innovative use of graphical screens and, optionally, pen-based portable devices makes recording electronic assessments even easier than traditional pen and paper forms. The simple to use forms designer allows clinical staff to create and modify their own assessment forms ensuring that the system will capture exactly the data items they need.

Tiara9 supports links to PAS systems to share demographic data without re-keying as well as direct electronic booking of appropriate appointments by GPs and Consultant clinics. Designed to link with GP's systems Tiara9 supports the acceptance of electronic referrals and the sending discharge reports via NHSnet.
Tiara9 is tried, tested and in use today at NHS Trusts throughout the UK. By collecting relevant clinical information in support of patient treatment, management and audit information are available as a by-product. This is already helping clinicians using Tiara to keep on top of their administration workload and reduce patient waiting times.
Tiara9 embraces the new NHS information culture of providing patient data electronically to all relevant healthcare professionals. Through its support of the use of Clinical Terms, Tiara9 helps Trusts to realise this part of the Electronic Health Record strategy for their Therapists.
